This Barcelona bar is like something out of Alice in Wonderland - as you enter into the gloom, you slowly make out the people around the tables, and also around the trees. The name actually means "Forest of the Fairies" in Catalan.
The whole of the ceiling is a canopy of branches and dimly-lit lanterns, and as you explore past the trees, you'll find caves, waterfalls and lots of little alcoves - very weird but very cool. |
The bar serves the usual range of drinks, but Senor Stag would recommend the sangria - surprisingly refreshing but stand up, and you instantly notice the effects!
This bar is located in a narrow enclosed alleyway just off the bottom end of La Rambla, very near to the Wax Museum. Great to go to after dinner before hitting the main going out streets. |
