The impressive setup features a 250m main slope which is covered in real snow courtesy of the centre's crazy aircon system. There's also a snowboarding area and ski lifts so you don't have to fanny about climbing to the top. We kid you not. This one definitely has to be seen to be believed!
If other members of the group don't fancy the white stuff, head on over to the thermal baths. A little piece of history in the heart of the city, these Arab baths are a combination of hot springs, whirlpools, ice baths, saunas and swimming pools. Sweat that hangover into submission and go for a massage when you're done. A very popular choice for stag weekends in Madrid, this is a unique activity that will set up you for the night ahead.

Diehard football fans will already be aware that Madrid is home to 2 outstanding clubs – Real Madrid and their rivals, Athletico Madrid.
Watching Real take to the pitch in the dramatic (and centrally heated!) Bernabeu stadium is an experience to remember. Athletico are also pretty damn impressive, and with some of the most passionate supporters on the planet, you'll be in for a fantastic afternoon. Fixtures permitting, grab tickets for a home game and you'll soon discover what makes La Liga so legendary. |
Madrid stag weekends usually involve a trip to the classy Casino, where you'll be in for a 'Real' piece of the action. Many of the city's footballers come here to play with all those Euros they earn, so you may just casually bump into a centre forward or one of the WAGs. Dust off your tuxedos and prepare to swap beer for bottles of Bolly as you head for the capital's glamorous gambling tables. Get lucky on a spin of the roulette wheel or go for broke (literally) courtesy of the blackjack table. Whatever the outcome, you'll be treated like kings for the evening. Well, until your money runs out!
If you've got the stamina, head for one of the many bars that litter the streets of Madrid then round the evening off with a trip to one of the night clubs that stay open until dawn. With so much to see and do, it's little wonder that this fabulous city continues to score top marks with stags year after year. |
